Apple

It's apple-picking season! Get a little colder and enjoy a meal with your friends. If apple-picking is not an option for you, eating apples can be sure.

What makes apples so good for you? Feeding with fiber, promoting a feeling of satiation (feeling full) and promoting healthy digestion.

Sprinkling them with cinnamon and baking them in the oven for 15 minutes. Top them with a drizzle of honey for tad of extra sweetness.

Pumpkin and squash

What is more iconic of fall than the pumpkin? Do not stop your pumpkin activities stop at carving. Pumpkins and other members of the squash family have tons of health benefits as well!

They are a good source of tons of vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Thiamin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Iron, Magnesium and Phosphorus, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Riboflavin, Potassium, Copper and Manganese.

Best of all, squash is very versatile depending on the type you get. Brussel Sprouts

Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potatoes, with their bright orange color, and thick, creamy texture, are the ultimate comfort food of fall. Bake or boil it and mash it with a tad of nutmeg for a delicious, slightly sweet treat, or slice it thin and add some salt and pepper before broiling it for some healthy chips.
